This is a wonderful tribute for some soldier. I think he or she will appreciate the colors as well as the thought behind it.

Your quilt made me teary. I'm sure whoever receives this quilt will appreciater all your efforts to honor our veterans.

Did you digitize all the words? or did you get them somewhere? I'm inspired to make a quilt for my brother.

Oh! It's a panel. I must be going blind or just wiping my eyes.

The very center, with the soldier is a panel. However, the words or sayings was on printed Cheater fabric some call it. It's just yardage with sayings and you cut them apart to make mug rugs, quilt blocks, etc. I cut out four sayings, in this top, outlining or framing around each, with the black. Unless you want to make your brothers yourself, you could contact www.qovf.org and request him a quilt. I am sure they can put you in contact with a group in your area. The presentation ceremony is very nice.
If you want to make it yourself I understand. Thank him for his service-Toogie

You have a real gift for QOV! Once in a while I can take a panel and come up with something unique and nice, but not nearly as consistently as you seem to do. Keep up the good work and God bless those who serve and have served.

The layout you chose is awesome. The color of the surrounding blocks compliment the panel.

Well wishes for your back issues.

A terrific quilt that honors the vet. I am in agreement with your daughter. So, tired of RWB for QOV but the concept of honoring those who served our nation by giving time in the one of the branches of the military never grows old. Delighted to see an option that is creative and unique. Well done!
