It's called Professional Tote by The Creative Thimble -- I forgot to give her due credit. LINK. The tote dimensions are 18" wide and 15" tall and 5" deep. It is a nice big one.

YES!!! Follow the pattern exactly -- if you have to, use a marker and mark each step when done! Also -- note where it says the tote is 18" wide......but the pattern pieces are cut 15" wide...yes, the width of the fabric when you cut it is 18" wide. The side panels make up the rest of the width to make it 15" wide. DO use the little pieces that you cut out and pin them to each of the pieces when you cut. It's very easy to get totally screwed up if you don't. Look up the FAQs on her website to get some more tips. I have to say, this one is the most satisfying tote I've ever made. I love challenges and this one is quite the challenge. I keep giving them to people that travel on planes a lot....LOL, maybe one day I'll make myself one!!! LOL

Looks good! I'm still too chicken to make it, although I've had the pattern a year now.

Don't be chicken! Just go for it. With this, you could use a cheaper fabric...with the DecoBond supporting it, it turns out nice!

I really love that tote! I had to go and take a look at their other patterns and have just fell in love with the As you Like it purse! I have been searching for a pattern that is just right for me and I do believe I just found it!!

and of course I'll have to make one of those totes you made and hope that it comes out even remotely as nice as yours!!
