OK, I know this may sound like a dumb question, but, do LA come in differant sizes???
Your quilt is spectacular, is it hard to do this or do you program into the LA and it does the work

This is not a dumb question! There are no dumb questions! If you want to know something, you should ask. I think LA do come in different sizes, but I am not sure. I know that there are machines called Mid-Arms and these are smaller than a LA. LAs are like sewing machines in that they come in a wide variety of price ranges and features. The computerized ones can be programmed and they basically just do the work with minimal supervision. I think others are just manual.

    Thanks for the compliment!
Yes, LA's do come in different sizes and many different brands. You can get them with a computer or without. Even with the computer you can still do the LA work free motion, as I did with most of the one in this post. When using the computer program/designs you still have to watch for tension issues, thread breakage, bobbins running out etc. You can't walk too far away from it for very long. Oh, and learning ---- takes practice, practice and more practice. But is so much fun.
