    Families can be made in so many ways -- sometimes the tree has to branch a bit. Love is what keeps the sap flowing. Those grandchildren and their mom are lucky to have you, and not just because you make them quilts!

    Love the quilt. Good for you for no ending your relationship with this girl. I feel the same way about My youngest daughters former husband is also the father of their 2 daughters. He is a wonderful guy but my daughter just didn't love him like she should have and didn't want to stay with just for the kids. She said it would be like stealing his life and a chance at true happiness with the right woman. they share custody of the girls and each sees them every day. They have a good relationship and that makes it easier on the girls. Good luck to you.
