Think 14 and 51 are my favorite.

The magazine was called 'Quilt' in Japan but can't remember the name of that block. Let me see if I can find it for you. Thanks! ;-) ;-) ;-) It seems to me that it was called 'Yin Yang' but let me search first.

On research, I found it's a ying yang symbol of Asia and here's a link I found using the tools there (paintsticks used with stencils on fabric) to create that quilt.

    Here's the link: http://www.mamut.net/controls/shop/s...ltcom&gid=1711

The quilter just may have used fabric paints (paintsticks) with stencils. The magazine's specific name also is 'Quilts Japan' but I dont' remember the issue I was looking at. Hope this helps. :-D

Thanks everyone! Someone just inquired about one of Minelolly's quilts. She does fabulous work. I just wanted to show another one of hers because they are exceptional. For all you SS lovers out there, this one is for you! :-D

I found a close-up of #14 that so many of you love. She collected the pindots for years to make this. Here it is:

Also, I forgot to show one other quilt that is exceptional as the quilter made the quilt according to the order the colors go on the colorwheel and it's fabulous! Here it is:

Oh my! the mind is running crazy with ideas after seeing all of these. I especially like #5 the crazy/scrappy basket quilt. Until seeing that one, I have never liked
that pattern! Thanks for changing my mind! I might just have to try one of those!
