weste both quilts are beautiful. Is that a Kaleidascope technique?
jessiesmom; I found if I make the pcs. which border the pts. on either side (In westes quilt for instance it would be the white pcs.) slightly larger so they overlap the pts. slightly, it gives you that 1/4in seam to sew w/o dipping into your star pt. Also it's easier to trim the blocks to a uniform size w/o losing your pts. :D

I designed a block the other night, which I hope is original enough to be called "original". It came directly out of my head, but with all that's floating around in there, Who can tell? I'm really excited to share it, however, I am still working on the blocks to photos aspect. My Hubby's step Dad has a Digital camera and will be here this weekend so hoping to finally get mine posted. The ones I've done anyway.
