My husband taught me: Give because that is what you want to do - - no strings attached. Just give because you want to.
Not many know how to practice that or how important it is to understand that it really isn't about what you get back - - it is that YOU gave.
It is a true blessing when what you chose to give was/is appreciated - - makes you want to do it more often, doesn't it? <g> <wave>
