Default Another Reunion of the Square Family

I made this in 2015 from the picture of Linda's quilt. I didn't want any of the seams to run from top to bottom or from side to side. I use graph paper to figure it out. The graph paper was smaller than I needed for the quilt, but by the time I had it half done, I was good to go to finish without more help from the graph. My squares were larger than Linda's but 3, 6, 9 and 12 inch blocks would work fine.

It's not math really; it's just fitting them wherever there was room for them. It involved lots of partial seaming, which I very much enjoyed. And every strip in every block is partial seamed. Well there are a few that are not, like the mitered stripe at the right center.

This is a tremendous effort and certainly a beautiful quilt. You must be patting yourself on the back. It is wonderful.

Yes, a nightmare of mathematics, but this is WONDERFUL! I love the colors and general movement of the design and colors.

Wow, wonderful quilt. Would drive me nuts but I would love to use all those scrap pieces. Good job.

Scraps! Yes! There are a few pieces that are used twice, as in the binding. I loved that multi-color poka-dot on black.

Wow! That's cool. Me & math don't get along so I'd need explicit instructions.
