Another from the scrap pile.....
Im working on taming my scraps... Ive joined the Moratorium on not buying fabric in 2014 just because i have sooo much fabric bolts and scraps, my sewing room looks like a LQS but just not as organized.. Not yet anyway.. lol..
So currently I'm taming down the 10.5 layer cakes from my swaps.. Ive got years accumulated from swapping every month that there is a huge variety of fabrics to choose from....Well anyway, I found another great TUTE on youtube from Missouri Star Co and this was sooooo soooo easy.. It only takes two layer cakes sqs for one block.. WHOO HOO i have tons of those!!!!
I used one light and one med/dark.. and went to town...
And this is what i came up with.. " You've Got Mail" ... Not to shabby from scraps of layer cakes.. !!
