butterflywing........I did them the way Eleanor Burns did them in her "Egg Money Book" .....which is I used lite weight fusable webbing and a template.....cut out the template and sewed it on to the arch then turned it right side true.......and found my center of the arch and the rectangle....ironed it in place.....then I did a blind hem stitch on both side.....and then added the half square block to the corners.....make sense??.....:-)

okay.
you used the web as a facing and turned it right side out, ironed it centered, pressed to keep it there and blindstitched by machine.
ingenious! and beautifully done. what patience you have. you must have tiny fingers to handle those pieces. i would be so clumsy. honestly.

Hiya cathie!,
o
I found that ez simply crazy templet/ruler!! Yippee! I did a google search and found it at Quilting -Warehouse.com. It was the only place I trusted online to order from out of the three places listed having them in stock.
The wright's site said Joann's had them, but, they don't show them as having them on line. So I figured what I would save in gas into town would make up for the postage, right?
Thanks so much for this idea to use the someday I will use these pieces collected into bags in the sewing closet.
I knew there was a method to my madness. LoL! You just had to show it to me.
