    Default Another scrappy charity

Last week Saledere posted a picture of a wonderful quilt. She used a constant fabric for the prominent interior pieces and border. However, I don't have a lot of yardage, so mine is, surprise!, scrappy. The background of each block is a different tone-on-tone, and exhausted my supply of whites. Those who know me, know I love scrappy quilts, and here is my version. Thanks for posting, Saledere, you inspired me!

I like this pattern so much, I will cut pieces to make a boy's version using darks with light neutrals for the backgrounds.

That is really nice! Nice use of scraps! I have been making lots of charity flimsy's lately and find I have to be creative with using what I have because when it comes to my scraps, I don't have a lot of yardage either! I can't wait to share some of my photos. I don't have many people to share my work with.

Fabulous! I mix whites and neutrals as backgrounds a lot. Keeps the whole thing scrappy.
