    it is called prairie skies- from a sept/oct 2004 fons & porter magazine- some one here said it is available on their website as a downloadable pattern too- it used 20 medium/dark fq's- 4 additional med/lt fq's and i think 4 f 8ths...i think---that sounds right- the longest piece is 9 1/2"

    I think your quilt is absolutely beautiful! Love the choice of pattern. Couldn't be any better than a pre-cut kit.

    Thanks for giving the breakdown on how you approached squares for the quilt. It helped me to study the design and make sense of it instead of just say how nice. It is original and wonderful.

    These are my favorite kinds of quilts...scrappy...and made from what is in the stash.
