    log cabins are my absolute favorite. I have made many of them. I am going to look at your method to see if it is easier to do on the cutting.

    Love your variation also

    Beautiful arrangement for your blocks. Now I am thinking maybe the scrap bag should come out and I should start cutting strips. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful quilt.

    That is a real beauty, and reversible!! I love that star pattern!!!
    I know what you mean about scraps...they seem to multiply when we're out of the room!!

    Thank you. The blocks are 9" finished (1" logs), and the border is 6" wide.
