But I can't find your reference....I'm hoping to learn something about organizing the strips! Can you help (I can't buy another book, else I would)? Many thanks for sharing your gorgeous quilt!

    Sorry about that - the reference somehow got the ')' at its end. Here's the right one:

    I cut the logs into the sizes I would need (1.5" x 1.5", 2.5, 3.5, 4.5,... 9.5") and separated lights from darks, then used trays from Wal-Mart to hold them.

    A beautiful quilt but my fingers hurt just thinking about handquilting through all of those seams.
