Thanks everyone so much for the compliments!!

Since someone requested the pattern for this quilt, I will go ahead and post the instructions here just in case someone else would like it:

    DOGS AND FROGS MINI TUT:

    1. Cut an assortment of novelty and muslin squares 5".
    2. Lay a muslin square on top of each print and draw a diagonal line from corner to corner.
    3. Sew down each side of the line 1/4" away on each pair (chainsew 5 or 6 blocks at a time).
    4. Cut the blocks in half on the drawn line. If you use 1/4" seams on each side of the line, your block will come out at exactly 4.5".
    5. Square the blocks up.
    6. Sew a 2.5" strip to each pair of HST's; sew a 2.5" center square to 2 strips. Join the block together like a 9P is sewn. Voila!
    7. Alternate strips and center squares for each block. Refer to the pic of my quilt for a sample. Alternate your blocks.

***For a really scrappy look, use 3 or 4 different prints in each block! Mimic the busyness of the prints in your final border for a really nice look! This is a great pattern for med. and large scale novelties. The white fabric gives the space that these lg. scale prints need and alternating the blocks helps it even more. I have no idea the name of the block. I made this quilt 4 years ago using all florals. I know of no pattern anywhere for it. I just wanted the block to come out at 4.5" for a finished size of 10". Dogs and Frogs #1 and #2 also were made like this and were sent to charity. Have fun putting those scraps to good use! Someone will love you for it! n2

I love the variety of fabrics you used. I could spend quite a while checking those out. I especially love the way you switched out the lights and darks. It gives a totally different perspective to the quilt. Great job!
