    Because the blocks echo each other, it looks fine. Just your own version................rename it.
    By the way, I like it as is. Beautiful.

    I love the old time looking fabrics you used to make it. I don't think it is critical to worry about it on a baby quilt. That baby has no idea of the pattern, only the love that went into making it, right?

    I had quite a day yesterday with my ripper. Twice I sewed on a long row of blocks turned the wrong way. I guess my brain is just tired of stagnate indoor air. I have to get out and do something!

    I think it looks much better than the original. I like patterns that make you think, and you have just made a very good one.

    Beautiful 'take' on the original and I have to say that yours is much more interesting. You could call it the Road Less Taken.
