    Default Another scrappy quilt

After Christmas, I decided to cut my scraps into usable sizes and hopefully get the lid on the tubbie. I cut for almost a week and the lid still isn't closing but it's closer. This is the first quilt I made using the squares and strips. They were all cut at 1 1/2 inches. The name of the pattern is Strips and Squares. It is from a book called Let's get Scrappy by Annie Quilts. The pattern called for the center of the Log Cabin blocks to be red and I went one step further, and made the center of each 9 patch also in red. I think it tied everything together. It was fun to make. I am happy with it. Now it's on to the next scrappy. I may get the lid on the scrap tubbie yet! LOL

Way to go! Scrappies are such beautiful interesting quilts. Love yours and I have some of those same fabrics, did you come over and raid my scrappy tubs? On second thought, I think someone has added to mine!

Wow. What a beautiful scrappy quilt. I am just amazed that you have the vision to find that pattern and the scraps and sew it up into that quilt. That is something I would never be able to do. I am in awe.
