    Default Another Sewing Machine Cover

Hi all, just wanted to share the sewing machine cover I just finished. This one is the same pattern as the one I posted earlier. It came together quickly since it was just made with 5 inch squares. This one is for my "portable" machines so I don't have to put them away every day when I am in the middle of a project.

That is very nice. I need to get off my butt and make some of those.

Cute. I try and cover my machines that aren't in use during the current project too.

Great idea! I finally made some for some of my antique or vintage machines which had no covers. They sure are helpful and pretty, too!

Joann Fabric has racks of tote bags located by their checkout lines. Someplace I saw a machine cover made out of these bags. Handles and top edge are trimmed off to fit machine then hemmed before bag is turned upside down over machine. Of course, choose a bag without writing or direction design or it will be upside down. 🙃

That's a great idea. My sewing room gets so dusty when I'm working. A cover is needed!
