Another star quilt

I certainly sympathize with your "pile of tops to quilt and bind". After my foot surgery, I thought I'd get a lot done sitting in the recliner for a month with my foot up. Not so. I finished two. I'd find myself asleep with the needle missing. Eventually it would poke me in the behind and reveal it's presence.
So I just gave up and took one to a local professional. Call me when it's done, I said. Four hours later she called. Talk about putting me to shame. And her workmanship outshines mine. She said she didn't have much else to do then because she had just hosted her church and the house was clean. It was immaculate. You could not scrape up anything close to a dust bunny. I need to hang around this wonderful person more often.
