Another TWISTER quilt

Another TWISTER quilt
Last fall, my sister had won a large twister ruler at a quilt retreat, and she was gracious enough to let me break it in, so I made a twister Christmas quilt when I got home. I will see her in July and return the ruler, so I had to get another one made. These were scraps of fabric that I had received from a friend. Think this one is about the 7th quilt that I have made from the fabric she gave me. The first picture is the blocks sewn together to show the 3 different fabrics that I used.

I thought that the border I had used was contrast enough, but after cutting the twisted blocks, I don't think there is enough, so will have to be more careful on the next one. The next quilt is the finished top. Now to bat, back, quilt and bind it for next Christmas.

Thanks for stopping to look. Keep posting your quilts, I so enjoy all the talent that makes up this board.

beautiful and artistic quilt! It makes me want to dig out my twister tool and give it another try. I think the border sets off your quilt beautifully ... and makes it more seasonal. I look forward to seeing your finished quilt.
