It's a great quilt and much too much work in it for a garage sale. Do you have another place you could sell it if you don't want to give it as a gift? Maybe a consignment shop or do you have a LQS that sells finished items? A lot of people seem to have luck selling online. If there's a local craft show maybe one of the vendors would try selling it for you. Maybe you should just keep it and curl up in it and enjoy it yourself!

Fun quilt. You could also post it for sale on this site. But I agree that it would be nice to keep in your family if it doesn't sell at the garage sale. I am sure there is another woman that would love to have it.
