    I'm not sure what to use by I don't think plywood would be my first choice. Plywood is layers of wood put together and I think if it gets wet it would warp.Ask at the lumber store, I'm sure they can suggest something that would work.

    I love it and love the idea. I made some wooden flowers and birds to dress up the plain wooden fence that encloses my dogs' yard and now have another wonderful idea to add some pizazz to what else would be a dull area.

    Wish I could take credit for it but Hollie Forsman in Ellsworth, WI made it. www.crowscornerprimitives.com She also made a wedding sign for our grandson last month It is very cool. She charges $65 for a 2 ft square like mine and I think she can ship them for $10.
