    I do know what you mean about buttonhole stitching around the letters. It takes concentration for sure. The extra effort you put into outlining the letters paid off. Your friend is going to love it!

    What a wonderful gift, mind if I borrow your idea for my sewing area. I'm afraid my DH would like my stash to go away, but it's only going to happen when I finish the UFO's and other quilts I have planned, or maybe doll dresses for my DGD, or quilts for DGD, etc., etc. I don't think my DH appreciates my stash (I purged about half of it when we had to downsize from a 3 bedroom home to a 2-bedroom apt.) as much as I do; but I do miss some of the purged fabric, however it went to a good home, my best friend.
