    Love it! You are probably right about the use of an old blanket. My great grandmother had a lot of old wool calvary blankets and she used several of them as batting because she didn't like the scratchy wool. She worked as a seamstress and milliner back in the 1890's and wanted to travel. She didn't waste anything.
