    Here is an antique quilt that I have been repairing and restoring for a niece and nephew. It was made by his grandmother, maybe 70 - 80 years ago.

    Some of the patches were just rotted away and I removed them and replaced with some vintage fabric that I had. There was one area of the background fabric that was deteriorating so badly that I appliqued some other yellow fabric right over it. (See picture)

    I'm so sorry, but, I can's tell where the repairs are!:) Good save, great job! I have a couple that I need to repair also. You have given me inspiration!

    Great job! This is a great gift to your niece and nephew. Hope they don't plan to use it as an every day quilt, though!
