    I found them no problem, Love the quilt, fix or not it is your top.

    It was believed back then that you always put a flaw in a quilt. It would stop the Devil from fallowing the pattern , at night, to get to you. If the pattern was perfect, he could attack you while you slept. Therefor they always had a break in the pattern. For that reason, I would leave it as is. It is part of the history of that time. It is beautiful by the way.

    Beautiful assortment of fabrics in this quilt. Don't know much about the value and what modifications would do this antique. It is beautiful and one to treasure!

    I learned that a quilt is dated by the last time it was worked on--so if you fix it it's a current quilt. I love it and would not change a thing.
