    This pattern could be 7 sisters.6 diamond shapes making a star plus a center star. The center hexagon is probably appliqued on. These diamond shaped pieces could also make tumbling blocks.

    Very nice! What a treasure. Enjoy working on it and thinking of your great grandmother. Don't forget your label!!

    I'm getting ready to add (very gently) a label to a grandmother's flower garden quilt made by my grandmother pre-1950 (had to ask my aunt when my gm quit quilting). Someday my kids will care to know that. :-)

    I recently bought a quilt top that isn't finished. It was also made in the 30s same pattern as yours. I'd like to get my hands on some of that grren so I can finish the one I have. Any ideas on where to get that green in a reproduction?

    The pattern i used when I made mine,was seven sisters. The one with the hexs is called grandmothers flower garden.Jolo
