I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your fabric!! I don't have any suggestions, but at the risk of offending anyone here, I think the D9P is always a standard suggestion. If you are a beginner, the D9P would be great, so would the turning 20, or Yellow Brick Road (a personal favorite of mine).

Oh, did I mention I love your fabric? LOL

I just had n epiphany. Since you have so much of the big print fabric, you could do Lucky Stars and use it as the background fabric and the smaller prints for the stars. oooo.. Or you could do a Carpenter Star (there are several no Y seam patterns available) and use it as a background for that too.

I like the idea of the Take 5 too. Hadn't seen or heard of it before, but I really like it and love the sound of how easy it is to make. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

the carpenters wheel is a good idea too. You need three fabrics for that too.

Once you decide on a pattern, and get your piecing done, you could applique one of those fans in a few of the bigger squares for a punch, then use that swirly fabric for a nice wide outer border and the backing.
