    Here is what I see...I usually start with a small quare and two smaller squares on top of that one. The three of them combined will make a perfectly square three-pieced unit and from there I add one strip at a time going around clockwise. It should square up just fine then :) Hope this helps you figure it out. Good luck and happy stitching!

    The colors are still really good together. They could always be part of a wonky log cabin..:)

    I think you just created a new block! They look cool kind of like attic windows. Do three more for a large 9 patch lap quilt, maybe with red "squares" alternating. :thumbup: Nothing is wasted just transformed ;)

    Well thank goodness. For awhile I thought I was the only one in the world who couldn't figure out the log cabin block. It gave me the most trouble of any I've tried.
