My Janome 4000 is 16 years old (approximately). My White heavy duty is older than that. My other white is almost 30 years old, and my Singer 401 (or is it 404?-- it's at my daughters house, so can't check right now) was purchased in 1962. I do the buttonhole stitch (or blanket stitch, or heirloom stitch) on the Janome. The only quilt top that I have done any applique is on the URR.

Shadow, It's just stunning. How large are the blocks and will you quilt it yourself?

These look beautiful together, this is a beautiful project.

Someone is going to be very lucky getting this quilt.

    Its an heirloom for sure.

I always get hung up on the weirdest and most insignificant things. I would not be able to decide which block would go where. How will you decide how to place the blocks? It is so beautiful.
