    Your piece speaks for itself! And I agree with the invisible thread solution-better safe and not take a chance and I truly think it will not distract from your masterpiece.

    Barbm - I use a double needle, 4mm, to sew down my 1/4" bias on stained glass.
    It might help hold everything together more.
    Your work is awesome and if they don't like it, they are tasteless...
