Red face Appliqued Fall Wreath Wall Hanging

This wall hanging applique was done using the Martha Nordstrand applique method. My preferred technique is needle turned. Learned her method in the class I took from her 4-5 (?) years ago up at Quilt Camp in the Pines, Flagstaff, AZ. - and then set it aside until earlier this month when I found it again. Finished the applique about 2 am on 8/17 and have it ready to sandwich, baste, and hand quilt.

I love fall colors and where I live now- just don't see them. The little robin is the Michigan (where I was born) state bird. Will try and remember to post another picture once it is finished.

    Thanks for looking!
