    How about a yoyo? that way, it's washable.

    I agree ... I'd find the button annoying as I dried things.
    Although, I am sure I would NEVER use this as a working towel!! :) Purely for show and my enjoyment.

    Another option .... what about a teeny-tiny yo-yo?

    I think a very small yellow circle would be best.

    Where do you get you flour sack dishtowels?

    Barb - sometimes you can find them at the Dollar Tree ($1) but the quality is not the best and they are smaller size.

    I like the idea of the button. You did a great job on the towel. My great grandmother used to save her towels and sew a little strip of calico at the bottom for gifts for every woman in their church. My great grandfather was the preacher. She was a very frugal person, but they both were very generous to help others.

    Think a yo-yo might be a better idea, especially if it's actually used as a dish towel.
