After piecing this top last summer, I finally found time to get it quilted. For my threads, I used the colors of each block so I would not distract again from all the different colors already in the quilt. In the center of each brown, I quilted a flower motif; four pointed leaves and four small petals in the center. Then in each colored arc, I quilted a feather variation; one feather, one curly-cue. I had lots of fun varying the curlies. Then I bound it with a mixture of all the browns found in the centers. The pattern I used also had instructions for making a complimentary pillowcase, which I did. I quilted this on a Bernina 440QE using the BSR. Thanks for looking!
