    Put a pink border around it, and see how much the 'color' of the quilt changes.

    Love it! Too much pink for a boy quilt----so it's a girl quilt definitely. Have you ever tried fleece backings? They are backing and batting in one, and with no rules about having to quilt close together so you can quilt however you want. They make some really cute girly fleece!
