    Wow that must be fascinating. :-D They're beautiful things - so simple but wonderfully satisfying somehow. The lamp posts in Lyme Regis (on England's Jurassic Coast, near where I live) are formed in an ammonite shape. Here's a photo...
    Thanks so much for the photo of the lampposts. They are really neat and the town looks really nice, too. I'll have to get there someday. There are ammonites in some of the rocks in the western U.S. near where I live. They are certainly fascinating creatures. Thank you so much for sharing your quilt and the lampposts!
