    Default art quilt finish

    Hey all,
here's my latest art quilt finished, it's all made from scraps, fabric that came from my grandmother's house, etc. The blue surrounding it is painted batting. I took it to the gallery to be hung in this month's group show and forgot to get measurements, but it's around 3 feet wide and 4 or 5 feet long. Oh, and I titled it "There's a Battle Outside and it's Raging" those of you who are in my age bracket will understand the reference LOL!

    Thanks for looking,
    Rob

Nice one, Rob. I like the idea of painting the batting. Very interesting.

I love it! It is one of a kind just like artists design. I have painted. I also see several people in the design with something in their hands.

    I like your pieces.
And maybe am in your age bracket.
At least your title rings a bell for me. I just can't quite place it.
