    Default Art Quilt Wall Hanging

This is called "stitch and slash". It was a class in one of the local quilt shops. You stack the fabric, sew it together, sew your design (in this case 9 squares with a wonky circle in the middle) and then slash through the layers with your seam ripper. The gal that made the design also offers a class in the technique on Craftsy. I used batiks, 2 types of yarn, and metal buttons. I'm hanging it in my kitchen.
