Plan for 2011 is to finish off some UFO's and I can honestly say 2 down. Finally put strings together and add borders and it's off to the HeartStrings Project. 2nd quilt will be for my sister's 60th B-day. Bought the fabric many years ago for a queen size quilt for our bed, began project several times, changed pattern several times but took it out, made a new arrangement with the blocks I had already made and it will be quilted this week. Feels good to get a handle of my UFO's. May in Jersey

You have a very good eye for color. Your quilts are lovely. I have two UFO's, since your on a roll would you like to 'borrow them' til they are finished? Pretty please??? I have ten more I NEED to make right now. I love making the tops, then I get pooped out with the quilt and it takes me forever to sit down, cut the back and quilt minimally the item. I love the tops, hate the quilting. Not a good way to finish those UFO's. Time for an attitude adjustment I think.

Thanks but No Thanks to your offer of your UFO'S, I have plenty more waiting for me right here. I agree with you that the quilting part gets to be a drag with the pinning and then struggling getting the quilt on your machine. I have a few larger quilt tops that I need to finish soon and think I'll be sending them to the longarm quilter. They are quilts for my granddaughters, one is married and the other will marry next year solI want them to be special and done on time too. Good Luck with your UFO's , May in Jersey
