I bought the fabric at Jo-Ann's, sorry I don't remember the selvedge information. The person who made the "cats at the beach" quilt may be able to tell you. (see her post and photo in Pictures today). I bought the backing fabric at Jo-Ann's, too.

My Brother 450Q is not in a cabinet so I put it on my dining room table to quilt this. The extra table space was great for holding the quiilt but the table is really too high or my chair too low and I felt the difference in my shoulders. A different set up would help, I know. I used lotion on my hands which provided some tackiness but it soon wore off. Gloves would be better, I'm sure....though I really have problems wearing gloves. Can't even use them when gardening. My hands get claustrophobic, I think.

Thank you for the inspiration, I have some animal fabric I didn't know what to do with.

Aahhh! This is cute! I have 3 dogs. Hmm! Gives me an idea for my husband. I have to watch him. He's like a little kid and if he could he would bring every stray home.

Very nicely done and cute, too. Love the backing and I just wish my Stitch-in-the-ditch was as straight as yours! Good job.
