I like the orange one but maybe make the black around the pumpkin a little wider.

I love the purple as it makes the jack-o-lantern stand out! The orange makes the jack-o-lantern blend in too much.

I personally would got with a solid back border. I adore the combination of colors in the purple but think it would just be tooooooo much on the border.

purple is great. For the second one, think you should border with the lime green and bind with black.
