May be to late for my opinion but here it is anyway. I really like the orange but seems too busy for the whole border but how about piecing your border. Use a block of the orange on two opposite corners for a really neat look. By the way, it's a great quilt!

The purple one makes the pumpkins POP...the orange batty one the pumkins blend in.

I was thinking of this. I have some of the leaf green left over. I could make a small border before the purple. Maybe that will give it a little rest area for the eyes. Thanks!
I agree with your choice of a narrow green before the purple. It'll look great.

I really think the purple is sets the pumpkins off best. The orange is just too much orange. Takes away from the pumpkin. Just my opinion. Love it though, whatever you do.

I like the purple...the orange seems to blend, not enough contrast perhaps. I sure do like the snaggle tooth grin on the top pumpkin. He has character for sure.

Is it too late to add an idea? Maybe it's here. I think both are busy and maybe a green something--kind of solid like--to not distract from your gorgeous pumpkins?

Okay, everybody. Thanks for your ideas. Here is the final product, just needs quilting now. A little busy but ok for Halloween. Hope you like.
