    Default Aunt Gracie Baby quilt

I finished this top about a year ago, and now my niece is pregnant. This is for their baby girl to be born in January. This was a kit I bought at the Dallas quilt show. I fussy cut the pictures and ran out of fabric, so I did some machine embroidery of baby animals to fill in the blanks. Quilted on my DM in the ditch and diagonally.

Good thing that you ran out of fabric, because the embroidered squares make the quilt really special.
