Words cannot express my feelings for you at your loss. Lossing a loved one is never easy. Rest assured that she is looking down at you and the beautiful quilt and saying "Thank you for the beautiful work you did on my behalf." God Bless you at this time of sorrow. Just remember the good time you had with her and treasure all those wonderful moments.

I am sorry for your loss, she sounds like a sweet lady. Yes cancer is a very agressive thing, we were told my mother had small cell cancer and had 6 weeks. I live in Colorado and I flew out to PA. the next day and 2 days later on Thanksgiving she died.

I am so sorry for your loss. This beautiful quilt was meant for you even though you didn't know it. Every time you look at it, you will remember the wonderful time you had with your aunt picking out those fabrics you both loved. It will remind you that your lives were a patchwork of times together and times apart. May God comfort your heart during this difficult time.
