I had a very similar experience recently. A few weeks after my aunt passed, I sent the quilt to my uncle. I told him it was made with love and I wanted to send the love to him in memory of his wife. He was really touched. It felt good to bring a smile to his face.

Your story brought tears to my eyes. I do believe that she sees how much love you've put into her quilt, though. My sympathy for your loss.

I'm so sorry about your Aunt Penny. I hope you are doing okay. It's so hard to lose someone so quickly.

The quilt you made is beautiful. You'll always look at it and remember your very special aunt.
