Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Aunt Penny. It sounds like you two had a very special, wonderful relationship. Perhaps finishing this beautiful quilt will bring you peace as you remember happy times with her.

Your aunt is looking down on you in smiles at your endeavors to get this quilt finished for her. Keep it close forever as a memory quilt for you - remembering the good times you had with her. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sometimes the old addage is true - and so many times I find myself having to remind me of this: "Don't put off till tomorrow, what you should be doing today"........... and several times i've come to regret for putting things off. It is like an UFO at that point - never to be completely finished! The receiver of your endearvor is gone forever.

So sorry about your Aunt Penny - she would have loved that quilt. This really does go to show us that we should not procrastinate & enjoy the loved ones that we have around us because we never know. My heart goes out to you
