    Default Autumn quilt; cherries quilt

My first attempt a posting pics on the new forum, hope it works.

The autumn quilt was my first attempt at machine trapunto. The cherries quilt is machine applique. Both are all free motion quilted on my Horizon.

It was based on a small wall hanging from an old Quick Quilts magazine - but I greatly modified/changed it. The original pattern only measured something like 35 x 35 and this is a large twin. Plus the instructions for the heart pieced block had an error in them - which I found AFTER I started cutting! I'll see if I can find the date/issue number, but it can only be used as a guide.

The autumn quilt is entirely my own creation, the inspiration being the conucopia blocks which were originally together in a panel.

thank you all for the nice comments.
