    Hi Yetta, thank you for your kind words. I use a Janome Horizon 7700. I use it for piecing, and for FMQ, as it has an 11" throat.

    Thank you Sandy. Actually I found the raw edge applique part of the process fairly easy! Maybe it was easier on this one because I had the pattern enlarged so the pieces were not as tiny, most of them at least!

    It came out beautifully! You did a great job and I am sure your friend LOVES it and always will treasure it! Love your idea of enlarging the pattern she loves for her space.
