This one is called Baltimore Bliss, designed by Sindy Rodenmayer of www.fatcatpatterns.com. I made this one for my soon-to-be 7 year old granddaughter, who has just recently started her own first quilt!!!!
That is BEAUTIFUL, and I love the colors. Your granddaughter will always cherish it.

I just put an avatar on my profile yesterday. I didn't know how to do it.

A collection of many purple fabrics turned the old spider web pattern into something that makes one gasp when they see it -- or so I'm told.

I have a friend that used this pattern for a stunning quilt, and it won Viewer's Choice in our 2003 quilt show.

I thought since I live in the islands and can't hula worth spit, I'd learn something else from here. I posted it at:

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-47812-1.htm

The pattern is "You Are In Our Hearts" from Pacific Rim Quilting Company. This is a wall hanging approximately 42 inches square.

which quilt are you asking about?
It's called "Twister". you need a special ruler. the small size it harder & wastes less fabric than the large ruler. first you sew a whole quilt top of big blocks, then you cut & it is just magic to see how they turn out.

    Hope this posting works.

I was asked to make a baby quilt for a co-worker's friend. The person wanted flowers/insects but nothing that was cute or baby oriented. The quilt ended up double size. The designs were from a book by Carol Armstrong.
