My first Log Cabin. I made for my granddaughter for her 10th birthday. I was only going to make it 2 different purples and I ran out of one and when I went to get more they were out so I had to get a darker purple.

Amazingly beautiful. Mine was just free style. Use what you have and create it as you go. It was a winnie the pooh theme.

I don't know why I never noticed this thread before. This is my avatar quilt.

I designed it myself. It's in the hoop getting quilted, I didn't want to machine quilt it, but so far I've done an echo quilting around the lotus flower and doing small swirls behind the fairies hair. Still don't know what I'm going to do for the birds yet.

In the border there will be an interlocked rounded chain.

I can scan in the pattern if anyone wants it, just PM me for it. I have all the pieces for applique.

I love your avatar, it is really pretty, the birds look like honey eaters. You are very clever. :)

This is a beautiful quilt, Jennifer. Design, colors, everything about it is beautiful so I know the quilting will be also.
